Grime and crime? Barcelona??

Even for someone like me, who feels that the Ciutat Comtal's fifteen minutes of fame have gone on for, like, 15 years too long, I don't get the whole dissing of Barcelona in Monocle's line-up of the 10 most livable cities. (Well, at least not for the reasons cited.)
