BARCELONA, Spain: Two days after a power outage hit Spain's second-largest city, 10,000 households and businesses remained without power Wednesday with utility company officials still unable to say when services would be fully restored.
"We can't say for sure when it will be fixed," said Carmen de Miguel, a spokeswoman for power company Endesa, the main supplier for the port city of some 1.6 million people. "We trust it will be today."
(Well trust away, but you'd be a fool to do so. Thursday's BCN dailies report power outages continue in parts of Graçia and that it will be FOUR MONTHS before things are back to normal.)
